I've been told by my advisor that I should consider declaring a major. It helps to move along my designated curriculum and will give me a good idea as to how long my program track will be. I'm still not sure though. I really like the English track, but I think I prefer the Biology major. Considering going to med school, though that'll surely put my parents into major debt. Hmm... Anyway, I've been doing research on the Biology school, and it's actually pretty good in comparison to other Biology schools in the country. Not that it really matters to me. I just like it, because it's close to home.

Speaking of home, I'll be heading down this Friday afternoon. Ashley! Think you can make some time to hang out this weekend? I'll be here until Sunday. Ben says he'll come too. Apparently, there's some sort of Kung Fun convention nearby, and you know he wouldn't miss that for the world. If you want to join us, Bella, you're more than welcome to. And Edward and your friend from La Push, Ash. Anyone who wants to hang out, just let me know. I'd be more than happy to hang out with you. It's getting chilly out though, so be sure to wear thick clothes wherever you're headed!

I can't believe how big Izzie's getting. It's true that he and Josh always seem to be having this competition: WHO'S TALLER TODAY? My poor mother's fireplace is full of pen marks and notches with I's and J's written all over them. They still don't understand the concept of a date, so they argue all the time about which Monday which notch belongs to. Mom just lets them have their fun. I'm really glad I came down to see them though. They'd made some finger paintings for me at school and wanted to give them to me. I miss them so much some times that I cry that I feel like getting in my car and driving here and back every single day. My parents worry some times when I leave rather late in the evening. I don't blame them, but they have to understand how much I miss my twins.

Forks hasn't changed much. Not that it tends to change from week to week (I was down here about two weeks ago), but it does sort of feel different not being here all the time. I have to wonder how everyone's doing, as I suppose is only natural. Some things never change though, like walking around and catching a glimpse of Chief Swan's cruiser drive by. It's the little things that make you the most homesick. i don't know the chief of police in Seattle. It's a really big city compared to Forks of course. I only know the people from the college. And Ben.

Yes, I left Ben watching one of his Kung Fu movies again. Speaking of things that don't change.... Haha! He's doing well though. I'm sure he's acclimated to college better than I have. We do schoolwork together on occasion. Our schedules are slightly different, but for the most part we have a lot of the same basic Freshman classes, which I'm thankful for. I don't know anyone else outside of my roommate. She's nice though, knows a lot about fashion and things like that. Reminds me a lot of Jessica actually, which is both comforting and slightly strange. To think there had always been two Jessicas out there, well... I'm not sure how the world managed. Ha! Just kidding of course.

I guess I'll take the boys to the playground. I can't chase them as much as I used to. Getting old and all. But I'm sure we'll have tons of fun. Besides, may as well take advantage of the semi-okay weather while it lasts right?

Edward’s only human, Bella. He’s going to react like any other boy. )
